What services does BlazingWash offer? +
BlazingWash provides a comprehensive range of textile care services including wash-and-fold, dry cleaning, garment alterations and repairs, commercial laundry for businesses, bedding and household item cleaning, and convenient pickup and delivery service throughout Newark and surrounding Essex County communities.
Where is BlazingWash located? +
Our facility is located at 2928 Granville Lane, Newark, New Jersey 07102. We serve residential and commercial customers throughout the Newark area and offer pickup and delivery to extend our reach to customers who cannot visit in person.
What are your business hours? +
We are open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our phone line and email are monitored during business hours. Messages received outside of hours will be addressed the following business day.

Turnaround & Scheduling

How long does standard laundry take? +
Our standard turnaround time for wash-and-fold service is 24 hours for items dropped off before noon. Items dropped off after noon are typically ready within 36 hours. We also offer an express service for items that need to be ready the same day — please call ahead to confirm availability and the applicable surcharge.
How long does dry cleaning take? +
Standard dry cleaning takes 48 to 72 hours depending on the item type and current order volume. Specialty items such as wedding dresses, heavily embellished garments, or leather goods may take five to seven business days. We will give you a specific ready date when you drop off your items or schedule pickup.
Can I request a specific pickup time? +
Yes. When you schedule a pickup, we will offer you a two-hour window during which our driver will arrive. We send a notification when your driver is approximately 30 minutes away so you can plan accordingly. Contact us at least 24 hours in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

Pricing & Payment

How is wash-and-fold priced? +
Wash-and-fold service is priced per pound of laundry, starting at $1.49 per pound for in-store service and $1.89 per pound for our pickup-and-delivery option. We have a minimum order weight of five pounds for in-store service. Full pricing details are available on our Pricing page.
Are there any hidden fees I should know about? +
No. We believe in transparent pricing. The rates on our website reflect actual charges. If your specific items require any additional processing or handling, we will always inform you and get your approval before proceeding. There are no surprise charges at pickup.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and cash. For commercial clients operating under an account agreement, we also offer monthly invoicing with standard net-30 terms.

Garment Care

What happens if my garment is damaged during cleaning? +
In the unlikely event that we damage a garment through our negligence, we will work with you to provide fair compensation up to ten times the cleaning charge for that item, in accordance with standard industry practices. We ask that all damage claims be reported within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please review our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Do you accept wedding dresses and formal wear? +
Yes. We accept wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, and other formal garments. These items receive specialized handling and care. Wedding dress cleaning and preservation services start at $85 and are assessed individually based on fabric, construction, and condition. Please bring your garment in for an assessment and quote.
Do you use eco-friendly or hypoallergenic detergents? +
Yes. We use biodegradable, eco-conscious detergents as our standard. We also offer fragrance-free and hypoallergenic detergent options for customers with sensitivities. Simply let us know your preferences when you drop off or schedule your order, and we will accommodate accordingly at no additional charge.
What items do you not accept? +
We do not accept items contaminated with hazardous substances, mold, or pest infestations. We also reserve the right to decline items that are excessively deteriorated or where the risk of damage during processing is too high. We will communicate this clearly if it applies to any of your items before we take possession of them.
